Acceptance

By using Vela, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The Service

Vela is an EPUB reader with AI-powered features. We provide the app on an "as is" basis and may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

Accounts

You may create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

AI Features

AI responses are generated by third-party models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and may not always be accurate. AI features consume credits based on your subscription tier. Unused credits do not roll over.

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed by Apple per their policies.

Content

Books from Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks are in the public domain or freely licensed. You are responsible for any EPUB files you import.

Prohibited Use

Don't use Vela to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content through AI features. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.

Limitation of Liability

Uju Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vela. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
